A fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making method for purchasing life insurance in India

Life insurance is an agreement between insured and insurer, where the insurer pays out a sum of money either on specific period or death insured. Now day, People can buy policy through online platform. There are lot companies available in market, each company has various policies. Selecting best for purchasing term plan very complex problem. may confuse to choose buying term. It multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem, problem consists different criteria alternatives. Here this paper, model been proposed solve decision-making In model, fuzzy approach combined with technique order preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) it applied rank based plans. The experimental results show that life corporation India (LIC) gets top 12 plan. A sensitivity analysis performed validate model.
